A private RV park may be an option for a longer trip or work assignment, but ownership alone does not establish its prices, amenities, maximum stay, or rules. Compare current information from the specific operator for your dates and RV.
If you are comparing storage with a place where you may occupy the RV, review our long-term RV parking guide before requesting quotes.
Check the exact address and ask whether a compatible site is available. Provide your RV length and electrical requirements. Confirm site dimensions, connections, parking, and access before committing to a move.
Compare rent, electricity billing, water, sewer, Wi-Fi, deposits, and other charges for the same dates. Confirm which services are included and which are billed separately. Do not assume a private park has all-inclusive monthly pricing or a guaranteed discount.
Ask about pets, visitors, quiet hours, laundry, mail or packages, gate access, maintenance contacts, and any restrictions on modifications to the site. Do not assume a deck, skirting, storage, or garden is permitted. Confirm current internet coverage at the assigned site if work depends on it.
A longer stay or a gated entrance is not, by itself, proof of comparative safety. Evaluate the property’s current arrangements and your own needs rather than relying on a blanket claim that long-term communities are safer.
The original article linked to Recreation.gov. Public-campground listings are not evidence of a private park’s prices or eligibility for a monthly stay. Review the specific facility’s own rules.
The National Park Service camping information and secure Recreation.gov site are starting points for public-facility research. Do not assume an industry-wide stay limit for either public or private parks.
Ask the operator for application requirements, approval timing, minimum and maximum stay, payment dates, renewal requirements, extension availability, cancellation terms, and move-out notice. If residency or legal requirements affect your plans, verify them with the appropriate authority rather than relying on this guide.
Contact Colinas RV Park for a current written quote and compatible site. Confirm utility arrangements, services, approval requirements, and arrival timing directly with management.
A $75 deposit is required for every monthly reservation. A deposit refund requires a written request within 3 days of departure, an attached photo showing the site left clean, and management approval. Confirm the correct park email before sending the request.
Colinas cancellation requests must be submitted in writing by email to the park. Cancellations made 14 or more days before scheduled arrival qualify for a full rent refund under the refund policy. Cancellations made less than 14 days before arrival do not qualify for a refund; guests may request to reschedule. No-shows forfeit rent paid.
Once a stay begins, all lot rent is non-refundable. Leaving early or shortening a stay does not qualify for a refund. Refunds are issued to the original payment card, not by check. Ask other operators for their own policies separately.
Choose using the actual site, complete quoted cost, travel route, daily-use arrangements, and written stay terms. A generic nationwide price table or an ownership category does not replace those answers.
